Continually improve teaching and learning by fostering collaborative relationships, designing meaningful and relevant learning experiences utilizing technology, and offering both instructional support and leadership. Qualifications

 

Education/Certification/Licensure

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Valid Texas teaching certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills

Strong self-motivation

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Extensive experience integrating technology into the curriculum

Successful experience creating instructional materials to enhance technology integration

Ability to design and deliver technology enhanced instruction and professional learning

Depth of knowledge in current educational technologies and the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge regarding technology

Successful experience with curriculum design, integration, leadership, and implementation

Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently

Experience

Minimum of 3 years successful experience as classroom teacher

Minimum of 2 years successful experience utilizing technology in instruction

                 

Major Responsibilities and Duties

 

  1. Demonstrate awareness of district and campus needs related to  digital learning and lead activities to meet those identified needs.
  2. Model core organizational values and beliefs: communicate openly and effectively within and across teams; and manage resources to effectively support campus and district goals.
  3. Participate as a collaborative team member under the direction of the Director of Learning Technology to implement and strengthen the utilization of digital resources district wide.
  4. Promote, model, support and serve as a resource for the integration of technology and curricula.
  5. Support the acquisition and utilization of  digital instructional and administrative applications and resources.
  6. Conduct and facilitate ongoing professional learning through collaboration and mentoring to support district and campus digital learning initiatives.
  7.  Develop and provide face-to-face and online professional learning for staff to grow content knowledge and pedagogy through the effective integration of digital learning tools in instruction.
  8. Develop and provide online professional learning and resources for students and parents to foster proficient technology use.
  9. Facilitate  the meaningful use and integration of digital learning resources through data informed decisions.
  10. Collaborate with curriculum staff  and campus teams to identify digital learning solutions that support the effective and appropriate use of digital learning tools in the classroom.
  11. Attend required meetings and specialized training sessions with district technology and professional learning personnel.
  12. Engage in continuous professional learning opportunities to meet professional goals.
  13. Reflect on professional practices to improve and strengthen the modeling and facilitation of digital learning experiences.
  14.  Review and research current technology standards and integrate innovative technologies, differentiated learning strategies and methodologies into digital content delivery that is based on research and best practices, supports the district curriculum, and incorporates the vision and mission of Clear Creek ISD.
  15. Exhibits a thorough understanding and skilled proficiency in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Technology Applications.
  16. Research new and emerging educational technologies and best practices related to instructional technology and communicate findings.
  17. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills by modeling core values in interactions with all stakeholders.
  18. Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
  19. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
  20. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
  21. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
  22. Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
