Description | Primary Purpose
- Provide secretarial services to the Director of Parent Assistance Center. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
- High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and file maintenance skill
- Proficient skills in typing, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years office experience preferably in an educational field
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform usual office routines and practices associated with a productive office, including, but not limited to, typing correspondence, maintaining accurate records and files, mail distribution, etc.
- Assist other secretaries as needed.
- Assist in disseminating policy information to parents and staff.
- Maintain files and assist with grievance timeline and scheduling of meetings.
- Maintain travel records and assist in setting up travel itinerary.
- Maintain parent contact log.
- Establish and maintain files and provide information from the files when requested.
- Exercise excellent telephone etiquette and respond appropriately to inquiries and requests from the community and district staff in all areas of job responsibility.
- Research, coordinate, prepare, and organize communication and information for distribution to district personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding staff and student information.
- Maintain and safeguard all confidential records and information.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and supportive relationships with customers.
- Manage time and materials in an organized and effective manner.
- Prioritize tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
