Primary Purpose
Assist the Energy Manager in diagnosing, repairing, troubleshooting, and responding to the utility needs of the district’s facilities.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
- High school diploma or GED
- Texas driver’s license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of computerized energy management
- Basic knowledge of hardware and software of building automation systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment such as digital volt meters, flowtronics
- Ability to work in confined areas
- Ability to pull and install DDC control cable
- Ability to work flexible schedule
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of technical training or hands on experience in facilities energy management program
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the Energy Manager in the installation of DDC controls and other components to enhance the total energy management program.
- Program requested facility schedule for air conditioning and heating usage.
- Respond and assist the Energy Manager to determine appropriate temperature settings for work order requests.
