Primary Purpose
Support the repair efforts of the mechanics in providing safe and on time transportation to the students of CCISD. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
High school diploma or GED
Texas driver’s license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic mechanical skills
Ability to understand and execute verbal and written orders
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work productively without continual supervision
Experience
Experience in parts counter work
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Furnish parts to maintenance personnel as quickly as possible.
- Create and maintain parts inventory stock and appropriate records.
- Communicate with telephone vendors for parts/cost data.
- Maintains accurate records of all materials and supplies utilized in Parts Room.
- Stock and price parts and supplies.
- Responsible for picking up parts ordered.
- Receive and deliver parts as needed.
- Be available for after hour demands.
