Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Help with scheduling and training custodians.
- Oversee and participate in all custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from warehouse.
- Strive constantly to promote the safety and security of the building.
- Be responsible for the general fire safety and security of the building.
- Perform minor and emergency minor repairs and cleaning service as needed.
- Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
- Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are secured and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
- Participate in district energy management and IPM programs.
- Participate in the district’s Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by the District’s Incident Commander.
- Be available for after-hours demands.

- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
