Primary Purpose
Assist the Lead Custodian in overseeing routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of job safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of MSOffice Suites
Knowledge of basic techniques of minor building repairs
General knowledge of custodial cleaning practices
Ability to lead custodial staff members to perform cleaning tasks
Ability to operate cleaning equipment, lift heavy equipment, and properly handle cleaning supplies
Ability to interface with staff, students, and community
Ability to work a flexible schedule

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work; maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the warehouse.
- Strive constantly to promote the safety, health, and comfort of the staff and public.
- Perform emergency minor repairs and cleaning services as necessary.
- Keep buildings and premises, including concourses, sidewalks, and bleachers neat and clean at all times.
- Check daily to ensure that all exit doors and gates are secured, and all panic bolts are working properly during school hours.
- Responsible for daily cleaning of offices, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, and corridors, including dusting furniture.
- Work overtime when requested due to meetings and staff training.
- Ensure that all restroom floors are scrubbed and sanitized and that all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains are cleaned and sanitized daily.

Equipment Used
Including but not limited to hand truck, dolly, buffer, floor scrubber, wet/dry vacuum cleaner, carpet extractor, hand tools, and other small electrical tools, use of cell phone, computer, and tablet.
