Description | Primary Purpose
- Assist Energy Manager and Support Services Directors with: district activities and community events scheduling of lighting and HVAC systems; utility bill collection, documentation and reporting for analysis.

Qualifications
Education/Certification
- High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred
- Proficient typing, word processing and spreadsheet skills
- Basic computer skills including data entry, email retrieval and internet based applications
- Strong organizational and file maintenance skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions for custodial services, energy management systems, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Ability to interface with staff, students, and community

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Enter approved extracurricular activity and community event lighting and HVAC system schedules into energy management system application.
- Collect and input electricity, gas and water bills into applicable energy management database and other applicable systems for review and analysis.
- Assist Energy Manager plan and conduct needs assessment for improvement of utility conservation procedures, equipment and systems.
- Work cooperatively with building principals, department heads and Facility Services to review usage associated with extracurricular activities and reservations.
- Assist Energy Manager account for all purchase orders, grant requests and rebates associated with Energy Management.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality staff development opportunities for personal growth.
- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
- Display proficient levels of technology applications.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
