Qualifications:
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Special Knowledge and Skills
Strong self-motivation
Strong problem solving skills
Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Extensive experience integrating technology into the curriculum
Successful experience creating instructional materials to enhance technology integration
Ability to design and deliver technology enhanced instruction and professional learning.
Depth of knowledge in current educational technologies and the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge regarding technology.
Successful experience with curriculum design, integration, leadership, and implementation
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years successful experience as classroom teacher
Minimum of 2 years working with educational technology and technology integration
Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Demonstrate awareness of district and campus needs related to learning technology and initiate district-wide activities to meet those identified needs.

Model core organizational values and beliefs: communicate openly and effectively within and across teams; And manage resources to effectively support district goals

Participate as an effective team member under the direction of district supervisor(s) and collaborate with campus administration while implementing district and campus goals.

Promote, model, support and serve as a resource for the integration of technology and curriculam.

Manage student programs and digital instructional materials/resources.

Serve as a resource for adoption of technology integration for students, staff, and parents.

Conduct and facilitate ongoing professional learning through collaboration, coaching, modeling and mentoring to support district and campus technology initiatives.

Select, evaluate, and facilitate the use of engaging instructional strategies and best practices for integrating available technologies.

Facilitate personalized learning opportunities through data informed decisions.

Participate with curriculum teams as a resource for technology-enhanced learning experiences.

Attend required meetings and specialized training sessions with district technology and professional learning personnel.

Engage in continuous professional learning opportunities.

Reflect on professional practices to improve and strengthen the modeling and facilitation of technology-enhanced learning experiences.

Utilize effective coaching strategies to support technology enhanced learning experiences within curricula.
