Description

Primary Purpose

  • Provide support for the operations of the Technical Services team.

Qualifications

Education/Certification

  • High school diploma or GED, college preferred.
  • Must pass CCISD Drug and Alcohol Abuse Standards.
  • Must pass criminal history and MVR driving record check as required by CCISD.

Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in district standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret district and department procedures                                                                                                                  

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting
  • Previous school district experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Prepare documents and online forms for technology asset recovery including police reports and third part asset recovery forms.
  2. Assist the Computer Technician II in the delivery and transportation of district technology items between district locations.
  3. Assist the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Network and Technical Services as needed.
  4. Assist the Helpdesk Analyst by providing professional and friendly customer support to district staff in person, through electronic communication and over the phone.
  5. Assist with coordinating Technology support for district and campus events.
  6. Coordinate district vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  7. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities.
  8. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
  9. Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
  10. Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
  11. Display proficiency with technology applications.
  12. Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
  13. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  14. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  15. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  16. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  17. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  18. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as required.
