Primary Purpose
- Provide support for the operations of the Technical Services team.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
- High school diploma or GED, college preferred.
- Must pass CCISD Drug and Alcohol Abuse Standards.
- Must pass criminal history and MVR driving record check as required by CCISD.
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and telephone etiquette skills.
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in district standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret district and department procedures
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting
- Previous school district experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare documents and online forms for technology asset recovery including police reports and third part asset recovery forms.
- Assist the Computer Technician II in the delivery and transportation of district technology items between district locations.
- Assist the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Network and Technical Services as needed.
- Assist the Helpdesk Analyst by providing professional and friendly customer support to district staff in person, through electronic communication and over the phone.
- Assist with coordinating Technology support for district and campus events.
- Coordinate district vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities.
- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
- Display proficiency with technology applications.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as required.
