Primary Purpose
- Assist the Athletic Field Supervisor in performing necessary tasks to manage district athletic fields and synthetic grass
Qualifications
Education/Certification/License
- Texas driver’s license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
- High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English
- Working knowledge and experience in the use and operation of all ground maintenance equipment

- Requirement determined by supervisor
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform necessary tasks to maintain district athletic fields and synthetic grass management.
- Apply herbicide, insecticide, and pest control chemicals when necessary.
- Must follow all safety instructions when handling chemical applications.
- Perform duties as assigned with hand and power tools for athletic field maintenance.
- Report any hazardous situations to Athletic Field Supervisor.
- Remove hazardous objects such as broken glass, rods, concrete, etc. from the grounds.
- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
- Be available for after hour demands.

- Including but not limited to all hand and power tools, mowing equipment for athletic fields, and tools for synthetic grass management
