Qualifications
Education/Certification
- High school diploma and/or Associate’s Degree

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide information to directors, instructors, students, and parents concerning private lessons instruction including all updates and changes to program as they occur.
- Maintain large database of student lessons, payment processes, the instrument inventory and district-owned instrument rental fees.
- Organize and assist with the physical instrument/equipment inventory for the department.
- Collect and display student artwork at area businesses and organizations as requested.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and carrying out fine arts events held in CCISD and surrounding communities.
- Maintain fine arts calendar for district and campus events.
- Maintain schedule of appointments, campus visits and meetings for the Fine Arts Coordinator.
- Compile and distribute information, rules, guidelines and entry forms for all local, regional and state fine arts competitions, exhibitions, and opportunities for students.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and carrying out district in-service meetings and staff development conferences/workshops.
- Manage department archives including photos, videos and files.
- Assist with the Fine Arts purchasing process.
- Act as liaison to the Office of Public Information for department recognition and news releases.
- Recommend procedures to systematically manage and report data.
- Assist with switchboard relief.
- Prepare documents for the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Keep informed of and comply with all state and district policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality staff development opportunities for personal growth.
- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
- Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
- Display proficient levels of technology applications.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
