Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Maintain a valid food handler permit.
  2. Prepare quality food according to a planned menu of tested, uniform recipes.
  3. Maintain proper storage, care of food items and supplies; clean and organized storage.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge and follow care and use of equipment.
  5. Maintain sanitary working condition to eliminate contamination.
  6. Meet all scheduled meal times, portions, and serve the food per policy and procedure.
  7. Act as a cashier or backup cashier as instructed.
  8. Maintain garbage collection in a neat and sanitary fashion.
  9. Enforce standards of cleanliness, health, and safety.
  10. Maintain professional appearance and hygiene.
  11. Promote teamwork and interaction with fellow staff members.
  12. Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
  13. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
  14. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
  15. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
