As a CCISD employee, you will have a primary purpose to:

 

Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Major Responsibilities and Duties 

  1. Load and unload bus students with disabilities according to their individual needs.
  2. Maintain discipline and report student discipline problems to driver.
  3. Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each students’ special medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.
  4. Communicate with school personnel and parents as needed about student behavior while on the bus.
  5. Maintain flexibility with student management.
  6. Assist driver in maintaining appropriate paperwork related to bus route and students transported.
  7. Assist driver in maintaining a clean bus.
  8. Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
  9. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
  10. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
  11. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.

  14. Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
  15. Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
  16. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  17. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  18. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  19. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  21. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
