Primary Purpose
Assist with a variety of maintenance work orders, including but not limited to moving and delivering school materials and items, assisting with various types of repairs, and assisting custodians when needed. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
High school diploma or GED preferred
Texas driver’s license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well without constant supervision
Ability to learn and perform tasks in all skilled areas of craftsman trade
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with moves and deliveries as assigned by the supervisor.
- Assist crafts or trades person in making any repairs and/or performing any new tasks at any district facility.
- Available to work day or evening shift and different schedules or shifts when required.
- Follow all safety regulations related to any and all trade areas.
- Report any hazardous situations.
- Be available for after-hours demands as needed.

Ability to maintain emotional control at all times; constant concentration with using tools common to various trades
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
Strenuous walking, standing, and/or climbing; lifting up to 80 pounds; inside and outside exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, chemicals; work on ladders; work in positions including bending, twisting, extending reach above head, extending reach in front of body, and digging; ability to work flexible hours.
Terms: 230 days
Pay Grade: AUX 4
