Primary Purpose

 

Supervise the campus custodial operations; establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Major Responsibilities and Duties 

  1. Monitor and direct the work of custodians at assigned campus.
  2. Help in the scheduling and training of custodians.
  3. Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  4. Monitor the timecards of all custodial employees.
  5. Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the operations department.
  6. Strive constantly to promote the safety and security of the building.
  7. Be responsible for the general fire safety, health, and comfort of the students and employees.
  8. Strive constantly to promote district energy management and IPM programs.
  9. Perform emergency repairs.
  10. Perform minor repairs and cleaning services as necessary.
  11. Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
  12. Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
  13. Schedule and participate in the custodial support of district and community use events.
  14. Participate in the district’s Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by the District Incident Commander.
  15. Be available for after-hours demands.

  24. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  25. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  26. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  27. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  28. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  29. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
