Primary Purpose

 

Provides systems support and service related to configuration, documentation, testing, training and implementation of new and existing of current business systems including PowerSchool E-Finance/TalentEd (ERP) software for financial, human resources, payroll, benefits, and procurement applications. Communicates with various outside agencies, internal departments and campuses to determine and define District needs. Working independendently to analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and implements enhancements/modifications to satisfy determined requirements. Updates documentation of all programming changes made to software. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Qualifications

 

Education/Certification/Licensure

Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate degree and equivalent work experience required

 

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of ERP systems to include Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Financial Information Systems

Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills  Proficient with MSSQL

Ability to process information logically, develops process flowcharts and creates documentation. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Visual Studio.Net, C#, Proficient reporting tools including Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services Knowledge of SSIS packages for ETL processes

Knowledge of Windows and Unix OS, TCP/IP and network protocols

Skill in troubleshooting problems dealing with varied levels of complex factors Knowledge of relational database management system

 

Experience

Minimum of  5 years related work experience in  information systems.

2 or more years experience maintaining and overseeing ERP systems (Powerschool e-Finance/ERP preferred)

2 or more years maintaining, integrating and supporting enterprise systems

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Manage and provide technical support for multiple enterprise business systems ensuring data integrity, performance, system security, and proper backup/recovery capabilities
  2. . Plans, installs, and tests new software releases, software fixes, and enhancements for business systems.
  3. Participate in cross functional teams to help define, document and maintain data.
  4. Review, analyze, evaluate and document processes and workflow reporting findings to Supervisor
  5. Assist in preparation of PEIMS data transmission.
  6. As directed, develop, document and implement approved custom solutions, web-based applications, programs, reports, queries and relational databases to supplement and enhance enterprise/instructional systems
  7. As directed serve as consultant to District staff in defining and meeting requirements for collecting and disseminating information
  8. Document and define life cycle management of Enterprise systems and resources
  9. Submit support incidents to vendor support and manage incident progress through completion
  10. Assist in the analysis, installation, and integration of Enterprise/Instructional applications
  11. Analyze proposed applications in terms of equipment requirements and capabilities
  12. Mentor/trains other technicians and staff on setup of equipment, and proper procedure of operations of district systems
  13. Provide weekly updates and status reports to Technology supervisor.
  14. Complete a written record of every service call.
  15. Adhere to the hybrid remote work guidelines.
  16. Attend in person meeting for the entire technology department twice a year.
