Primary Purpose

 

Facilitate the efficient operation of the CCISD Technology Learning Center in the process of administrative, clerical and support services.  Serve as the Technology Purchasing Agent to ensure district technology purchases comply with standards.  Perform a variety of records management and data control duties. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Certification/Licensure

High School diploma or GED, at least 2 years of college strongly preferred

 

Special Knowledge/Skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Strong math and bookkeeping skills

Ability to work with little or no supervision

Applicable knowledge of the districts purchasing process

Expertise in common business software applications, ERP management software, and database management software

Experience with IT ticketing software

Knowledge of technology hardware and software

Verifiable purchasing experience

Minimum of two years of clerical experience

                 

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Responsible for all district Technology purchases from entering requisition, placing orders with vendor, ensuring invoices are paid, and purchase orders closed.
  2. Responsible for understanding the district purchasing processes as well as internal Technology processes.
  3. Responsible for verification of daily orders, verifying contracted vendors, proper delivery, and standard approved technology items.
  4. Responsible for understanding the warehouse processes and serve as backup to warehouse manager as needed.
  5. Work with other departments/campuses to improve and/or develop buying procedures.
  6. Route campus technology questions to appropriate personnel.
  7. Knowledge of district policy, precedent, and current purchasing practices.
  8. Respond to work order tickets for each technology purchase order and route them to proper personnel.
  9. Perform office routines and practices as needed.
  10. Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with district employees and vendors.
